Got to RS on Campbell. Not much, maybe 25%. If so, that would lower Campbells contract to $3.75M. If that was needed, take out Bourgault.

If Philly is indeed going for the rebuild they shouldn’t care about campbells cap- infact they probably sell him off 50% retained if he rebounds

That’s true. If Philly wanted the Oilers to RS on Campbell and they still wanted Bourgault then the trae probably doesn’t happen in general

No one wants to touch Campbell 5 million for 4 years contract, doesn't matter if you're rebuilding. Oilers will need to pay massively to get rid of that contract.

Why though? Skinner is better, you need a solid backup / 1B, not an overrated starter. Save your assets for improving the defense.

The defense is already elite. I wouldn't touch it. Having an elite tandem is more of a priority
