Description
Saw the Boeser one on another ACGM, I like it because it makes room for d-men

Also saw the garland one on another ACGM, I love garland, I think everyone does but that’s a move you make to make room for Petterssons monster extension, as mantha only has - year left

That was my ACGM, and if you read the discussion, you would have seen it was an overpayment, and it was COL 23 2nd, Pitt 24 3rd, and Nestrenko.

The updated offer is Silf retained to 3 million, Bostons 23 2nd, and either the 5th or a minor prospect.

I don’t think it’s an overpayment, Boeser has really picked it up these past few weeks, just look at his point totals. Canucks do this to make room for better d-men. Yes I might be bias but that’s just my opinion

He's got a pair of multi assist games propping his points totals up in the last two weeks. He also has had only 7 goals in the last 34 games.

Washington may consider some sort of Mantha/Garland swap, but not when a 2nd has to be attached. I think they’d much sooner consider using that 2nd for a more established top 6 threat.
