I don't see them moving off from him completely. I would say they possibly bring him back in a coaching or advisory role at least. Which I would be ok with them doing that with him and Anderson.

I think that deal helps Arizona a lot. Olofsson if he does not work could be a deadline piece and they could recoupe an asset. Jokiharju is on someone who could play on their right side for a long time with team control. He is just not what buffalo needs anymore.

I don't think they would want to pay his whole salary save just hope that he doesn't get injured and can be a positive asset at the deadline. They might have interest in Jokiharju but I don't think he holds a lot of value. They would want real assets coming back for their starting goalie who is young and has a low cap hit for the next two seasons. I would expect UPL say least need to be involved and then at least a good prospect or a high pick if not both. They have zero reason to move him at all.
