whats the point of resigning Bunting and then putting him on the 3rd line??

Especially for 4 mil at that point you might as well sign acciari for 2.5-3 mil less

Acciari shouldn't get more than 1.75. he's a good player but he's a 3/4th liner. Paying those guys more than 1.5 is often a bad deal. Bunting certainly isn't helping his stock though, I am not sure I'd give him 3.5 at this point.

Something called depth, you can move him around from 3rd to first line, just like they are doing now.
Knies may not fit on the 2nd line yet so he gets moved up.
O'Reilly needs someone to play with as well.
