Description
I assume that Boston would not move this player but I was hoping to hear what Boston fans would consider a fair return? I used the assets Det received form Van as an example nothing more.

What about pionk from the jets probably a cheaper to aquire and can play in all situations. Jets probably retool and probably trade out a dman and he may be on the way out and can be a could dman to pair with the young lefties next season

Definitely a good option and certainly a cheaper one. Carlo is a little younger and fits the height requirements of the Defense hahaha strikes me as a perfect partner for SE. Good call though.

Yeah only thing is pionks height but doesn't play like he's 6' but more of a 6'3 guy. Man has 161 hits so far with 116 blocks and 30 points. Man is exactly what you want as a second pair can do any good type of guy. Definitely something to look into for sure.

What would you expect for a pionk deal if you were to trade for him?

I think he would be a perfect add, probably cost more than we should spend to acquire.

Pionk would be a good add, I didn't really think he would be for sale. If the Jets go that route, which they should, he would be a nice target. Value be likely a second and B prospect I would assume?

I 100% think a dman is being moved and to trade him before his trade protection kicks in is a bonus. Maybe just Boston first and something small could get it done but yeah better pick worse prospect and vice-versa

That value seems about right.

Depending how this draft goes would really depend on the direction we go I think. If we draft a couple RHD this draft we likely only need a stop gap, I don't think we spend much then. If we don't draft a few then likely look for a longer term solution.

True if they draft a top rhd this draft they most likely just stick with their team maybe see if a fa for a 2 year deal is there but ultimately the needs will be affected at the draft and can completely change what a team wants/needs. I remember all the schmidt to Detroit like a year ago as a partner for seider for a 3rd. It didn't happen and walman stepped up to be that.

Well we'd need to replace Carlo since we have almost no RHD depth. If DET had a top 4 RHD to send back, then they wouldn't need Carlo. Honestly don't see a fit between these two teams for a Carlo trade.

Just want to say great feedback. I agree, the draft would absolutely dictate what the wings would be willing to spend or do, and Boston would be thin at RD.

Really just wanted to gauge Carlo’s value and think he and SE would be a perfect combo.

Can we interest you in some Tuomisto with a side of Chiarot?

Bruins already tight with cap, can't take on a higher cap hit d-man for a downgrade in Chiaroit. Chiaorit is also a lefthanded shooter. We have guys that are lefty who can play RD, coaching staff just doesn't like to do it.

Big pass from Detroit. It's funny that carlo apparently brings more than bertuzzi.
