...5 of our prospects were drafted in the first round. Kemell, Svechkov, Askarov, Schaefer, L'Heureux.

Along with Tomasino, who has 17pts in 24 games ...Evangelista, drafted in the second, has 12 in 17....
Nashville did a great job this TDL,
Selling away assets yet still only 3 pts out of the playoffs with 7 games to play.
When Buffalo passed on Kemell, you cannot imagine the words out of my mouth.

My Sabres have a great future but so does Nashville

He's 20. Goalies need time to develop. We're not rushing him because other teams are interested in Saros lmfao

He will be 21 in 2 months. Vasilevsky, Swayman, Oetinger, Hart, all were or became nhl full timers at that age. Hellybuck at 22, Shesterkin would have if they could have gotten him out of his KHL contract sooner. The top tier elite goalie prospects don't generally take that much additional time

I wouldn't argue that the offer is lacking and needs to better to obtain Saros, but to say the preds have lots of elite young talent is laughable

Yes, because Scott Wheeler's prospect pool rankings are set in stone and 110% accurate LOL. So accurate that two of our noted prospects are making their rounds in the league right now, and doing a great job at it.

Your comment on our elite talent being laughable is probably projections of being a Pens fan.
Our prospect pool is pretty deep. Once again, we don't need your pity.

Yeah, but scott wheeler said we have a bunch of B prospects so ryan doesn't believe we have elite talent.

It's funny... the article he linked has Nashville's prospect pool ranked 10th, but it seems he tried to undersell us tears of joy tears of joy

I am not a pens fan. We can agree to disagree on the Preds future, but IMO unless they commit to a rebuild they will be a middling team as they have been for the past 5 years moving forward

We have, arguably, a top ten prospect pool in the league. Poile, while keeping us mediocre, has done a great job with keeping our picks and drafting really well while we were still in contention spots.

We don't need to "commit to a full rebuild". We have great young talent doing considerably well in our top 6, a norris caliber defenseman and a vezina goalie, we're fine. We also just got an entire draft class for a 3rd line grinder.

Your outlook on our future is laughable.
