He is a complimentary #2 D man. Put him with someone capable and he is 100% a top pairing D man.

The last capable D man he played with was Niskanen. Go look at that year.

TDA will not be dumped for a price. Flyers are rebuilding, they will maximize the return on their best assets

No, I have watched him his entire career. He has been disinterested in the Flyers for years now. I can guarantee if you put him beside Doughty or even Roy, that he'd be very good.

When he's winning he tries and I guess people aren't allowed to have their own beliefs or opinions anymore. Guess we better cancel him.

When hes winning he tries lol exactly what you want out of a teams higher paid player.

And your the one who traded him to LA of all places lol you think a California team is going to touch him with a 10 foot pole?

    Provorv is negative value today

Lol ypu have yet to provide a credible argument for him being remotely worth what you claimed.

You said he was a carried 2. He is 27th in dman cap hit so hes overpaid even by ypur generous assestment.

He is left handed so theres no RH premium on that number.

He isnt inside the top 64 in dman points this year so he isnt from a production perspective a top pair guy

You admitted hes lazy which other teams see too.

And he has baggage as a individual.

In a flat cap offseason that is EASILY negative value nevermind the haul you deemed.

Personally, not following the logic of the moves of this rebuild.

Hayes at 4.5 mill per would have higher value than that.

DeAngelo at 2.5 per would have value too.

Provy doesn’t carry that value right now, even though I actually agree he’s a top pair guy. Priority needs to be getting him a partner that can show that over the next year or year and a half to get that kind of return. Think it’s unreasonable to expect it now, and that’s from someone who values him higher than most. Moving guys when their value is lowest is one of the many reasons why Chuck Fletcher was cheeks.

If TK says he’d resign and be part of the rebuild, not sure why he’d be moved at all. He’s still mid 20s and looks to be coming off a point per career year. I guess if this was the value you have to consider, but they have to pick some pieces to keep too.

Also, why no Risto move? I’d be shopping the 5.1 for 5 years to anyone that shows the slightest interest in saving us that money.

Hayes is an absolute plug and i'd do whatever it takes to get him off this team.
TDA is also a useless plug so we take anything we can get.
TK is 26 with 2 years left on his contract. If we are 3-5 years out it makes sense to sell at his peak.
Nobody is going to take Ristolainen.

In a perfect world, he isn't. There are probably a lot of GMs though that are going to be willing to overpay for him just based on pedigree and past performance.
