Agree the Sabres decline the trades but Orlov could be a good option.
Two time Stanley Cup rings (just predicting this year), strong defender, good vet.

Always hard to put together what the Sabres will do next year, really good effort. as you address all of the soft spots in the Sabres line up.

Orlov, and De Haan good option; Fasching, and Varlamov not so much.
Ehlers would be a nice addition, Garland not so much and keep Luukkonen if the only return is a fourth.
