That trade seems awful for the flames

They already can run a very good 6 on the back without Zadorov. Kuzy is the missing piece up front.

Lucic, Lewis, Ritchie shouldn’t be resigned. That’s 8 million in cap right there. Plus the increase in salary cap. Not only would this trade help Calgary, it’ll leave them in a comfortable enough position to even add another piece and put themselves in a nice spot to do damage next year.

Probably the best 1-2-3 at center in the league at that point.

That 300k space is already including those 3 players. Huberdueau and Weegar immediately take that up
