Simek is fairly cheap and is decent when healthy, I would be ok with a “future considerations” offer but giving up a 4th to move 2 mil off the books when it’s not like the sharks are competitive anyways seem counterproductive. Rather just bury him for the season

Isles won't pay more than a 2nd or 3rd to move Bailey. Don't think the Sharks pay to move Simek. Rest seem realistic. But can't see AZ adding more than the $6m they need to get to the cap floor with their limited revenue stream, and they do that just resigning their own guys

Sharks accept. Moving Simek eases up our dense logjam at LD. That's worth a 4th I think.

We could just bury him. Don't think the sharks should be paying people to take players with one year left on their contract. Can also waive McDonald and use simek as the 7th dman
