I'd like to see Ethen Frank to play for the capitals more than Malenstyn next season.

Have you seen him really play since he returned from injury? He's skating fine, he just hadn't had linemates that play to his strength. His best numbers have come when good possession players like Milano and Protas are on the ice with him, yet it doesn't seem like Laviolette is keen on letting Protas and/or Milano play with him. Watching him play in person the last few games, I don't see a skating issue, but a poor linemate fit (and some of this should be fixed over the summer).

I think it’s whenever I watch other team compared to this team we move in slow motion. Who would fit with Backy. Maybe recreate line like back in the day. With Ovi Backstrom Semin.

Debricat Backstrom ?

I like the idea of a Milano-Backstrom-someone line, perhaps Oshie or McMichael with Milano and Backy. I don’t know if I can fully gauge it as the scheme Lavy runs has Backy end up having to dump and chase most of the time since it seems his linemates are usually lagging behind on rushes.

I think and I know he was been playing well with Wilson.

That Milano Strome Oshie line was really good.

But Milano Backstrom Oshie would be a solid line, what do you think we do next year with making moves?

I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again, Schmaltz should be the move based on decent price, good contract, and ppg production. I’d value him over Debrincat in terms of trade targets, and then for the rest of the offseason I’d bring up McMichael and really only look at a veteran 7D and possibly Hathaway if he makes it to FA.

Maybe, but I’m not sure if Winnipeg will trade him and if it will be worth the price
