yes, after 1 whole year+ looking for another top 4 Dman, OTT will trade one for a winger they have no need for and also damage their C depth for a mid to late 20s 1st and a 5-6 Dman.... OTT in no way does this.

Also Chabot has far more value than Laine

Ottawa already has scoring on the wing, and an undersized swedish offensive dman. the are not giving up chabot because of 1 down year.

The only trade I think the Jackets would be interested in is the Pinto trade. No need for Chabot since we have Werenski and I would rather try to sign someone like Graves as a free agent.
