You wont need to spend that much on Jarry. If he returns to PIT, it'll be for less than what he's making rn (3.5mil aav)

agreed, I wouldnt do more than what he is making now to bring him back. Jarry is making 3.5 right now, I wouldnt go above that. I really dont want him back at all.

I like the Puustinen move here, I think him or Nylander has to be in our top 9 somewhere to save cap and bring a young guy in.

I would normally agree that Jarry should get the same or less salary, but the UFA goaltending market is so dry that I think there are at least a few teams that will offer him more than his current salary leaning towards 4M. No team will give him more than 2 years so it will obviously be short term, but Jarry still has talent, had a .919 save percentage last year and a .909 this year which, even being much less than the Penguins needed (which isn’t a terrible save percentage), so I think there is a strong possibility that he gets a small raise on his current salary (even though he doesn’t deserve it).
