Not enough for Murphy....nothing in that proposal would warrant moving Murphy. With Buffalo, a trade would need to start with Isak Rosen (which there seems to be some/partial consensus that Buffalo winger slots at the NHL level may be fairly full and Rosen could be a piece to consider from a position of strength/abundance) or a future 1st. Ur not moving Murphy for a mid 40's pick and a KHL'er that may never step foot back in North America

Pass on Murray...he would have to be paid 6 million and we have 4 goalies currently to fill out NHL and AHL slots.

Bailey is about right and I am fine with that.

Mitchell I would just hang on to if all you get is a third. At this point see if he blossoms a little later (like some D are know to do) or ride him all the way into the bust station if that is where he is headed. (assuming we move one of Murphy or Zaitsev via trade or buyout).

Dickinson trade is probably in the right zip code with ZERO retention...Honestly probably a 2nd if you are talking one like Colorado where it will be really late in the round. I am not using one of the 2 remaining retention spots to only land a 3rd.

The biggest difference in between Mrazek and Murray is that Mrazek sucked the entire year. Murray, on the other hand, is top 30 in save percentage and GAA... an optimal solution to roll with Murray, No. Is it going to cost a full round of draft pick downgrade to get rid of? Also no

If anyone gets $5m a year, it will be Domi, not Drouin. He doesn't get more than $3m. Hawks don't make that Buffalo trade. Too much risk that Poltapov never comes over, and Murphy is worth a better prospect anyway. Hawks also don't make the Murray trade. They don't need him. Acquiring him just clogs up playing time for the 3 young goalies Hawks have.

Thats not the patrick kane trade. You get a 2024 first or 2025 first if the conditions are met.
