Description
She's gonna be tight! I'm not sold on keeping Debrincat over acquiring a bonafide #1 goalie. If Saros is actually for sale, I'd trade Debrincat straight up for him. Lol!

I've messed around a lot with different deals but I keep coming back to OTT signing a "project" type guy on the cheap to give Sogaard and Meralainen more time in the minors. And right now there is no bigger project than Ned...so why not.

OTT's bottom 6 is going to consist of low cost Bsens players all yr. Whoever shows up to play will stick. I think Crookshank and Sokolov have the inside track here. Brassard probably signs a PTO again and sticks out of camp. He's good cheap depth. I like Kelly's tenacity but his inability to finish scoring opportunities gets him demoted.

Is this a playoff team?? The atlantic division is only getting tougher. Hell the year everyone thought Boston would fall off they went and broke long standing NHL records. Unfortunately for OTT and teams like BUF and DET, they play in the best division in hockey...They'll have to stay healthy and hope for average to good goaltending. That's the only way they're in a wild card spot come next spring.

Rumors out of overseas is that Lodin will not be back, he has been planning for the SHL apparently, I think we will have to choose between Mando and Fergy for AHL

Mando and Ferguson should be splitting games in the AHl until one proves better. Soogard should be getting as many games as possible in NHL.
I like the idea of Nedeljkovic, but I am not carrying him and Forsberg, pick one as your stop gap until Soogard is ready for full-time #1.
I do worry about Foseberg and his injury, I am not confident he would be ready for the start of the season even, and will he be the same ever again?

I doubt Brassard is gonna play again.
Would have Kelley in the line up over crookshank or Sokolov.

I gotta think there is someone out there better than Kelly's miserable 4 points this season either getting Jesper Fast from Carolina in UFA, or Chicago seems open to moving Blackwell. Goalie is a big question mark this offseason, I think Forsberg will be back but we still lack that True Number 1 and Im not sure Mads is ready for that yet

Agreed, I think Soogard should be starting the season in a true tandem with a veteran established Vet goalie that doesn't break the bank and gets the picture.
Forsberg could work in this spot depending on his health.

Interesting...they're going to have a lot of work to do with their AHL club this year then as well. Unless they prefer to just have guys on AHL PTOs, like they did this past year...

I just really prefer not to rush goalies and Sogaar being only 22 seems like a rush job even if he did look steady down the stretch.
