With Sutter out, the Flames should look to bring in Mitch Love from the Wranglers. He's proven he's worth a shot, and is obviously good with young, developing players.
Keep a similar line-up, but let expiring contracts walk and replace them with youth from the farm. Roll 4 lines, and sprinkle the youngsters throughout the lineup, playing with veteran players. Dube become important at C on the 4th line, changing it from grinders, to gritty player that can be a threat to score.
A bounce back year from Huberdeau and Kadri, combined with the injection of youth and this could be a decent team to evaluate with leading up to the big offseason next year when all those major contracts are up.
