Schmaltz would be really good on the Blues

Not sure Schmaltz is a good fit unless we just buy in to getting into shoot outs every game.

Hmm. I'm not a super big Schmaltz fan, he scores but his overall game ain't the best. But this is a thinker. Him being signed for three years at that hit makes it tempting. I kinda think I'd pass in the end, and definitely would if he we haven't addressed the top 4 LDs yet. Honestly, that should be move one, regardless of what comes after. But I had to think long and hard about it.

Schmaltz is excellent in the O zone. The other two zones, he's sub-par. That's not a secret.

Realistically, where would our top 4 defenders waive their NTC to go to? I'd love to move them but those NTCs are a b**ch.
