1. Connor Bedard (Chicago Blackhawks) (Details: Easiest pick for CHI. Still not a playoff team anytime soon, unless they blow their entire cap. Bedard won't solve everything.).
2. Adam Fantilli (Anaheim Ducks) (Details: Biggest need for ANA is size. Fantilli has it, and plays a premium position. No way they overthink this.).
3. Leo Carlsson (Columbus Blue Jackets) (Details: Picked Carlsson over Michkov because Gaudreau didn't come to CLB to wait 4 years for help.).
4. Will Smith (San Jose Sharks) (Details: Considered Michkov here, but Grier said they aren't going slow. Smith is a year away .).
5. Matvei Michkov (Montreal Canadiens) (Details: MON fans won't want them to wait, but they are in the best position to wait for Michkov.).

Sale and Danielson are interesting choices at 12. I am fascinated by these types of draft choices.

If he is still there Danielson is a hard pick to pass on. He has the size and centers can always be shifted to wing. He is a player that could be a top six center and that should not be passed on.

Sale is a sniper and is a top six winger that fits the size and grit profile that AZ is going for. I think he is a Laine type player that will be lethal with a playmaking center. Logan Cooley enters the chat...
