Good stuff! If I’m looking at the Blues future, I’d like to build out the team around a solid young core. As of what’s in our system so far, we have:
LW - Z. Bolduc, J. Neighbours
C - R. Thomas, Z. Dean
RW - J. Kyrou, J. Snuggerud
D - Perunovich, *Parayko*
G - Hofer

In an ideal world, we draft a solid C/RD with the 10th pick, I think Dvorsky, Moore, Reinbacher falls to us there. With the latter picks you take the best available of what we didn’t grab at 10 + steal someone with a high ceiling but needs time to make the NHL. From the off-season standpoint, keep Faulk but look to trade 1-2 of our other Top 4 D. Maybe Parayko to BUF and snag a LD prospect and a pick coming back like Ryan Johnson. Then target a young shutdown guy that’s young, Ferraro on SJS for example (think a 2024 2nd + S. Robertsson does the trick there).

All the sudden, you have some solid future lines:

Buchnevich/FA* - Thomas - Snuggerud
Bolduc - Moore* - Kyrou
Neighbours - Dean - Schenn

Perunovich - Faulk
Johnson - Ferraro
Krug (if not traded) - Bonk*

Hofer - JB

For blues I rarely see stuff like this. I love Every part about this, we do need defensive prospects however I doubt we consider picking any unless reinbacher falls to 10, and evens then you still gotta think about it. Your are on the spot with the blues having many to many LD, but would you be opposed to playing scandy in the minors, he seems like the guy who will have something happen to him unless we could get something we would want for Leddy/Krug, and this also doesn’t leave any cap restraints on a buyout after next season. I do like Alexandrov and Acciari as a 3C 4C also!
