No need for Nosek as Holmberg can be 4c

I feel Bunting's gone as hes gonna ask for to much term.

Personally like what DET did with Perron I think getting Killorn on a similar deal is perfect.

What's crazy is the fact this Leaf team couldn't win games in regulation.

3 out of 5 wins from this playoffs were in overtime, 2 of which the Leafs got lucky by tying the game with the pulled goalie.

5 out of 11 games went into overtime,

Nhl playoff hockey kind of sucks.

Bad refereeing, still hack and slash hockey, no talent players are outshining the superstars, too many overtime games, too many teams mainstream hockey fans don't care about.

The TBL was a tough series but they battled through and heck squeaking OT wins against a team who went to SCF 3 times in a row aint no small task

And honestly this game vs. FLA highlights the point tracking pucks be needed to pinpoint where they are when out of our line of sight but NHL wont do it despite Liiga, KHL, and SHL using em

Who knows might have been a win taken away who knows lul. Anyways there is still work to be done with them

Alex Killorn has scored 3 goals in his last 30 playoff games and will be 34 by the time next season starts. It would be a complete waste of cap space.

Last year was honestly odd for him lets be honest. The guy was a consistent playoff performer than one year fell off

But since then he had a 64 point 27 goal season and in playoffs in 6gp 3 goals and 2 assists. In comparison Bunting, Jarnkrok, and Lafferty in 11gp had 3 goals combined

So yea a 34 year old outdid 3 Leaf players

If Leafs got this current version of Killorn got a feeling series with FLA would still be going rn as that man has been on multiple deep runs with Tampa and knows how to win.

That's true. Just not sure its the best decision to commit to a 34 year old player thats very due to regress. This team already has a speed issue, too.

A 2 year Perron like deal honestly isnt the worst

As u put that guy with Matthews I can see him giving u b2b 50 point seasons

And this is someone u want to add as he knows what a deep playoff run looks like and knows what it takes to get there.

Marleau was a year to long. 6.25mill x 3 years

2 years for Killorn is perfect as by the time hes done hes 36 and we wont need to pay to move him

If Marner never needed extending Marleau's deal would have been fine. People just remember we had to pay a 1st to move it.

Think of it as a similar deal to what DET is doing with Perron.

Hard to say. It's a bit risky. Not saying the money won't work, but we also would have to re-sign/extend lilly and robby. Wouldn't want to risk losing out on them because we paid Killorn (a player we probably don't even need). In my opinion, in addition to extending the core, our biggest focus should be adding Noah Hanifin, especially once we lose Brodie. He would be a perfect fit for our need and timeline. Calgary will likely move on from him, and the cap hit would work very well.

I'm honestly starting to like the idea of 4 on 4 hockey, I know it'll kill traditions, but players are so much bigger, stronger, tougher, meaner, dirty, faster, fitter, smarter and skilled than in the past.

If the Nhl won't accept to change to the larger ice rinks (which they should never consider) than why not create more space on the ice by removing 2 players from each team ?

With how water down the League is, getting rid of 70 players might be a good thing.
