I agree that while the future looks okay they do lack a high end player to really build around, which to me is also another reason to tear this down to get that guy plus the returns they could get for Dubois, Helle and Scheifele could also really set them up nicely.

This core and its lackluster supporting cast are beyond done, if they think people won't support a rebuild but will continue to pay to watch checked out Dubois and Scheifele they're truly ****ing delusional.

Part of me thinks they should move Heinola and their 18 OA pick to try and get a top pick. I could see Arizona possibly doing it. The thing about Gawanke is that yeah the jets asset management is terrible but he wasn’t gonna go in front of Heinola or Chisholm to get called up.
