Description
First step, re-sign Kyle Dubas and do not blow this team up. It’s frustrating losing to a team you feel we should beat, but much like 2021, we ran into a hot goalie. Round one out star players proved they can show up when it matters, there’s just no stopping good hot goalies.

Keefe I’m still on the fence about, I love him and what he’s brought to the team, but I feel like sometimes he doesn’t make the best decisions, personally.

If this deal isn’t enough to get Ehlers, then we can add some prospects, need be. Also, if Ehlers has us on his NMC and won’t waive, target a guy like him, maybe a Teuvo Teravainen after Carolina is proving they can do just fine without him and he’s on an expiring deal. Someone of that caliber player to fill the role of 1LW until Knies can prove that’s his spot.

If they go into rebuild mode, a first and a couple young prospects are an incentive. Robertson could be really good in a few years if he can get his injuries in check.

There's no way that offer is getting you Nikolaj Ehlers, Winnipeg passes big time. Include Marner or Nylander at least.

Unfortunately Toronto's Robertson is highly overrated. He's not his brother and doesn't have much value. Voit is a dime a dozen prospect and doesn't really have any value other than as a throw in for possible future AHL depth. So, there's nothing outside of the first that is enticing.

Ehlers hasn’t played a full 82 game season since 17-18. Also, hasn’t had a season with 60 points or better since that same year. He’s not close to a point per game player so why on earth would he be worth a Nylander or Marner?

That’s fair, but Toronto does have other prospects that could be more enticing if need be.

it doesn't matter he's still young, And one of the better players not named Scheifele or Wheeler. He's sure not getting moved for what you're offering. That's for sure,

As I mentioned above, Toronto has other assets that can be included if need be. Stop taking these so seriously and let some people have some fun, it’s not that serious bro.
