Trades
1.
TOR
  1. Clarke, Brandt
  2. Hughes, Jack [Reserve List]
  3. Kempe, Adrian
  4. Turcotte, Alex
  5. 2024 2nd round pick (LAK)
  6. 2025 2nd round pick (LAK)
LAK
  1. Matthews, Auston
Additional Details:
There is no way Matthews makes it to the off season, or past June.30th if he has no intention to sign again in Toronto, so he will be traded if that is the case. This gives Toronto a great group of top prospects, a few draft picks and a solid Player that should fit the mould to help the Leaf Immediately.
2.
VAN
  1. Murray, Matt
  2. 2024 2nd round pick (LAK)
  3. 2025 3rd round pick (TOR)
Additional Details:
Vancouver wants out of this contract as they rebuild, 8 mil for 7 more years is not something a rebuild wants, however over paying for Murray on a much much shorter term would help both teams. Toronto also has had past interest in Miller. Garland also has a longer deal at a higher cap hit that I am sure Vancouver would like to rid themselves of
3.
TOR
  1. 2025 3rd round pick (COL)
  2. 2025 4th round pick (COL)

Canucks aren’t gifting you two top 6 players for a bad backup and two picks that aren’t even this year

Even as a Oilers fan you might be underselling Matthews. Turccotte is a bust, sure clarke is a 8th overall pick and kempe isa very solid player but if im whoever the leafs GM is, minimum 3 first rounders maybe even 4 depending on the team

Canucks accept even though they are not this year the picks are decent and the Murray is a good Goalie though he doesn’t have experience with tachet he does with both Alvin and Rutherford

They absolutely do not accept. The Canucks signed Miller last year because they want to keep him. They reportedly turned down multiple high picks for him as they aren’t moving him

Canucks decline. They reportedly turned down better offers than that for Miller. Even if his contract may age poorly in 5 years, he's still a PPG C in the present, and that kind of player carries value and won't be given away for free. Aside from that, they've been absolutely clear that they will not even consider a rebuild, they committed to Miller over Horvat and he won't be moved as a result.
