Someone please pay Kerfoot that much. He is the best player in the NHL at looking like he is doing something while doing absolutely nothing. Dump and case with speed but don't get the puck

Kerfoot isn’t as bad as the rep he gets from this site and the Toronto media. He’s a very useful player that can play up and down the lineup and all 3 forward positions. He brings a ton of speed and is actually very reliable defensively.. he’d make a great 3rd line/PK addition to any team.

Holl is fine as a sheltered 3rd pair guy. He has his moments where he can defend well but his biggest issue is moving the puck in the breakout. If you put him with a guy that’s better at breaking the puck out, he’d be a fine 3rd pair guy for cheap. He’s a big body that is highly effective on the PK and gets in the shooting lane well.

So I ask, have you seen either of them play? Both would actually be good additions to the Oilers but I doubt either of them get a raise in salary and can be brought in on the cheap for depth.

You ask if I’ve ever watched them play while agreeing that neither of them are deserving of a raise. I asked the question in the context of the 7 million combined for 4 years apiece. Back to the whiteboard.
