Not sure on the trade value. reports suggest Young puck moving D and the FLA pick. Jets need RHD, not LHD.

Schiefele and Helebuyck extend taking bulk of Wheelers cap hit.

Montreal isn't likely moving Barron, more likely would be Mailloux and the 1st but I don't see that either given our need for RHD

MTL moves nobody for PLD. They're getting him as a UFA in 2024-25 anyway.

Thanks for your help, but Samberg is definitely prioritized over Schmidt. I just don't think Jets are willing to pay to move Schmidt and won't buy him out. Good insurance policy for injuries.

They won't move mailloux for PLD without a 1st coming back our Montreal's way

I agree, was just saying though that of the 2 it's less likely to be Barron that is moved because he is already NHL ready
