Going to cost more for ehlers if the retention is there. We don't have to trade him so a deal really needs to blow them away to trade him on top for retaining for more than 1 year

That garbage doesn't get Ehlers retained at $3,000,000, And besides Hellebuyck, Scheifele and Wheeller will be the ones to get retained not Ehlers.

Picks will be late, And yeah Yamamoto doesn't have much value. Bourgault is a good young prospect. But it doesn't get Ehlers. And especially not at $3,000,000 retained.
