Any deal involving Nylander to the flames has to include Mangiapane. The flames cannot add a significant amount of cap to our forward ranks without subtracting someone with a significant contract.

I am also hesitant to add another high priced winger as in will not allow the flames to resign Lindholm. Flames already have some big money deals allocated to their wingers.

If the Flames found a way to ship say Kadri (with 1.25 mil retention) to Colorado then a deal around Mangiapane might work. Until then, the Flames are in no position to acquire Nylander and the contract that he is going to demand.
