Blackwood likely isnt getting a QO so might as well save the assets

Dunn is probably getting closer to 8x7M on his re-signing. Not sure I understand getting o'Reilly or spending that much money for him. Also not sure we need Blackwood with Driedger back full time next year. If they do, probably need to move one of Driedger or Grubauer to get a little cap relief.

Ryan O'Reilly is great with faceoffs. If you have watched any kraken games, you will see that the kraken couldn't win a faceoff if their life depended on it. I do see what you are saying though. With the Blackwood thing, I disagree. I think the Kraken need a young, upcoming goaltender for the future.

Faceoffs is the only real value I see in O'Reilly, But I think there are similar options for less $$ toi have the same effect. Maybe not?

Understood on the Blackwood portion. I think that's where Kokko will get the option for in 3-5 years. I'm ok with admitting I'm not a big fan of Blackwood. Not really a team player in my book. But your logic makes sense.
