signing a 37 year old goalie to a 3M deal seems like a poor idea. Better off just having someone like LA or Toronto to pay you to take on their extra goalie again

Does this team even hit the cap floor? If not, you could probably try to take Marc-Edward Vlasic and a first from SJ.

TOR would totally want to offload Murray, but he was decently good before he got injured again. I'm not sure if CHI is interested in being good, even with Bedard or try to tank for another couple years. They don't have to even play Bedard in the NHL next year if they feel like he's going to make them a middle of the pack by himself.

CHI is in a rebuild and we have a pretty stacked G pipeline, with Soderblom penciled in for serious NHL ice time. I doubt CHI adds any goalies, let alone free agents. And if they do, it will likely be as a cap dump that they can bury or buyout.
