I don't hate it, I'm just trying to figure out why VAN wants to trade a younger dman for Miller. They might since they have shown to be imcompetent at times. I also think Stanky does make the jump to the big club next season, but I think they'll leave Bourque in the AHL another season to ripen up properly. He shouldn't be needed next season honestly.

I'd rather see Hawks traded off but I get why Miller would go to VAN since he has more trade value.

Dallas shouldn't do this. Bear was worth a 5th in November, I don't see his value has increased that much in a matter of six months.

It's all about not wasting their EL contract. They can both make the jump next season and it saves the Stars money. But, I can see that happening too. Bring back Domi at least.

It's the cost of taking Colin Miller.

I haven't been overly impressed with Domi. He's been ok in the playoffs for the Stars, but he scored 67 points and is almost a PPG in the playoffs, He'll be getting more than $5M in Free Agency and Dallas couldn't really afford him with Roope's contract extension coming in to play. If Suter gets bought out then maybe, but we have Stanky coming up to fill in on either the Benn line or Seguin line.

He's cheap. He's not a cap dump.

It's only a 10 team no-trade. He has a high cap hit for what he's used for, but he's a Dallas Stars through and through, and I doubt they'll trade him. He's been such a beast this playoffs for us and he does all the little things right.
