What's stunning to me, is that Treviling made an absolute mess of Calgary's cap and some people think he's the front runner for TO's open job.

That Marner trade is so volatile; Trading Marner for two guys with 1 year left on their contracts and they could walk out. Also, that has got to be up there for the most expensive third line I've ever seen.

Let me go check how many guys he gave max extensions to for their 30's. It's 3 less than you guys have on your roster. That's definitely smart moves, and I just remembered Markstrom is another guy in that boat. Terrific job! Icing on the cake, Sutter
