Can't have too many career minor leaguers in the system. Hartman will get the Wild a first round pick at the deadline on that deal.

Minnesota Wild currently has 9 million dollars in cap space and they will make trades to the players on their roster.

I heard the Wild have 4 trade candidates like Calen Addison, Jon Merrill, Alex Goligoski and Marcus Foligno. It’s not stupid for the Wild to trade any of those players for cap space, players, prospects or more picks.

The Wild will most likely trade one of those guys this offseason but I doubt it is Hartman. He is only making $1.7 mil and rightly or wrongly is playing first line center for them. Foligno is probably the one who gets dealt. He makes $3.2 and could be replaced by Duhaime. Goligoski is a healthy scratch but if he agrees to waive his NMC he would also be a goner.

I can agree with that, but next season for Jared Spurgeon will be a make or break season.
