Once again MSG would be the retirement home for former stars. There is no way Kane stays because he is going to have hip surgery (in NY) and then be on IR most of (if not all) of next season. Tarasenko is borderline at 5M and he could probably get more somewhere else

He wants to stay in NY because of the doctors. If he stays, he is still going to be on LTIR and then who knows what the results will be. Is his salary worth the development of a younger prospect?
