Description
Don't know the value on the Dillon trade, but seems to make sense to me as a cap neutral transaction. Jets make room at LD to avoid losing guys to waivers. Heinola becomes a regular.

Lambert gets a shot. Moves around the lineup, maybe some time on second line RW. Probably sent down for Harkins if he can't hold a top 6 job.

Dubois dealt to MTL.

Wheeler plays out his contract as Jets won't pay to move him. He contributes as a grinder and PP specialist.

The MTL / WPG deal works. That's the trade I believe is most likely to happen.

NO to YAMO. No more little guys for the Jets, especially one that is not very good. Hard pass on that trade.

Perfetti as 2C... this is very risky and if he failed, WPG are out the playoff run... too risky I think.

Built a PLD trade to fit your needs: Dvorak 4M, Kidney, 1st (30-OA) for PLD & Schmidt (2M retain) if need be.
(Keep DeMelo)
MTL would pass Schmidt with a second salary retention at TDL to Vegas, TB, TML for a 2nd round pick.

He’s literally a throw in in this trade. You’d be dumb not to take him on for free. He’s a solid third liner in this league. Could potentially be flipped at the deadline too.

Taking Yamo is dumb. His cap hit is far more than his worth and no one would want him at that price, even if he's for futures.

I'm 90% sure that's the deal that's going to happen. As a WPG JETS fan, I would love more for PLD, but I say... Get this over with already and move on.

The deal is gonna be built around this. Maybe a third or a fourth and a player like Pitlick is added.
