This does nothing for NJ. They then have to go fill Bratt’s hole by going and trading and spending more assets on another player to fill his void. Which isn’t happening. If they trade Bratt it would be for a Tkachuk/Huby deal where they trade for player of likewise skill. Not futures. Come on now, use your noggin.

And nowhere did anyone say Cat was worth trash. Cat would even get a better return then this, obviously.

Devils sound like they will be extending Bratt. Our GM sounded more optimistic about it at end-of-year media availability than he ever did last year.

That said, if we did move Bratt, it would likely be for guys ready to help us next year. If you removed the untouchables and the NMCs, who would be left? Hard to see a match.

Devils accept. Marchment is whatever but Stankoven more than makes up the difference. I imagine that the Devils would turn around and trade for DeBrincat.
