Can someone explain to me why Toronto fans are trying to trade all the high priced assets when they have either a NTC or NMC? Do you think the players are all of sudden going to say Yes?

You Flames fans are funny. I don't think TOR/CGY will trade this summer, especially if the Leafs end up with Treliving, but the Flames absolutely smash accept on a Nylander/Lindholm swap. Contracts aside (they both have one year left at $6.9M and $4.5M), Nylander is the better (and younger) player.

Also, Nylander has a 10-team no trade clause so it's very possible he gets dealt to Calgary if they're not on that list.
