Mayfield has been on a steal of a contract but I think he is about to get $3.5-4m AAV which is too much. He can be an ok bottom pair and good PKer, but Mayfield took a step back this season. Maybe it's a scheme fit under Lambert, maybe it's straight up regression

He plays well with a good partner and poorly with a bad one. Boneheaded at times, but I appreciate his physicality and occasional offensive contributions, he does more than you’d think. Best on a third pair but is an adequate #4 if his partner is good
