  1. 2023 2nd round pick (NSH)
  2. 2023 2nd round pick (PIT)
Additional Details:
Guys I like at every draft slot…
10th: D. Reinbacher, Z. Benson, R. Leonard, M. Michkov

NSH
  1. 2023 1st round pick (DAL)
Additional Details:
Trading back has never been part of the Blues m.o. but Armstrong did mention it is a possibly. I love the idea of potentially an extra swing in the top-45.
2.
STL
  1. 2024 4th round pick (OTT)
OTT
  1. Bortuzzo, Robert
Additional Details:
Quite solid depth add
3.
STL
  1. 2024 2nd round pick (MIN)
  2. 2025 3rd round pick (MIN)
MIN
  1. Monahan, Sean
Additional Details:
Retain if necessary
4.
STL
  1. 2024 2nd round pick (PHI)
Additional Details:
Easy to imagine Vrana scoring 30 goals next season. Should be a decent commodity at the deadline assuming all goes well
5.
STL
  1. 2024 3rd round pick (TBL)
TBL
  1. Kapanen, Kasperi ($1,600,000 retained)
Additional Details:
Similar deal to Vrana, but not to the same level. Ideally the team is able to package all of these picks in summer 2024 to clean up the cap situation and start adding impactful pieces.

I'm not opposed to trading up, and then flipping the 24oa and 29oa for a young roster player who can help our retool, and still keep the 15oa.

If there's a player like that in place, I'm in.

Yeah there’s a lot of talk about STL trading their picks for help now, but I think Nashville is in a much better spot to do that. Cleaner cap sheet. I think next summer is the one for STL to start acquiring players.

Lazy take. They needed goals from guys like Svechnikov who were missing. They don't need wingers that have issues staying on the ice

Minnesota doesn't pay for Sean Monahan. Sean Monahan will never play fir Minnesota as long Guerin is gm if Minnesota. This has been talked about on here. So no from Minnesota

Fair enough, Vrana does have to prove he can stay on the ice, which of course is why STL got him for free in the first place. I think I like the idea of Vrana on the canes, simply because he’s so anti Cane. Thinking he could bring the same element that Jarvis brought his rookie szn before he got more ingrained in the system.
