I remember being real high on Chesley at the draft and I was disappointed when we took Beck instead.

I would be open to this trade because I think Ryan Leonard would still be available at 8th.
He is the guy I feel would work best with Caufield and Suzuki on the top line 2 years down the road from now.

But you are probably right that Hughes might take Reinbacher or Dvorsky 8th OA

If Michkov falls to 5th and Hughes decides he will pass on Michkov, I would want him to trade back and this offer seems fair

MTL's price to trade down is a high 2nd + a prospect.

MTL isn't considering until you take out the 4th and switch COL 2025 2nd to WAS 2023 2nd.

Im not even sure they like Chesley since they passed on him twice last year even if the RHD is their biggest need.
