Probably not but there's a chance for both to waive if DAL tells Benn they want to move on from him and say they'll strip him of his captaincy if he rejects, and Vlasic would have the chance to go to a contending team and reunite with PDB and Pavs, and may also be told that since SJ have a lot of LD men that he'd likely be scratched in favor of Knyzhov, Ferraro, and Thrun, especially if they sign a guy like Holl for the 2nd pairing RD spot. Also he only has a limited no-trade clause now and no longer a NMC so he could simply list DAL as one of the teams he'd accept a trade to.
