Well I kinda disagree with you. I believe that Sens would have extended Stone, at probably the same price Vegas paid him. But Stone wanted to leave....he saw the club's future for a few years and saw that it was going to flounder.
Seems like Dorion is trying to justify his job. He's the one that traded for DeBrincat. Dorion's the one that has the out of playoffs in a cap jam this summer.
