make kirill happy

Description
So minnesota is in a terrible spot with 14mil dead cap and the need to be good while kirill is signed. he seems to like it but pretty obvious that they need an upgrade on 1C.

lucky them, there is a few of them UFA after this year and two of them seem pretty interested in a move to a contender in Scheifele and Lindholm. So a trade with 8 year extension at 9 mil would be my estimate. if possible id like then to retain some cap so i can add more.

i would consider either of them but prefer Lindholm. could also see a bigger swing for Aho but the cost would be too steep i think.

add some depth and pray, add at TDL with retained cap. hope young players take a step

So 8x9 extension for a legit 1C, think he would agree since its at least 7/3 years of boldy/kirill on the wing

might need to add something smaller on top but this is the bulk of the trade. makes some sense since cgy wanted to change their core a bit and bring in some young guys. they also avoid another UFA walking.

Don't really see them having a choice if they want to compete and keep kaprizov longer. sure Aho and Matthews are UFA same year but they will cost way too much for a 14mil dead cap team to handle. this gives them a solid 1C for like 4-5 years

How did Rossi look at the NHL level? Do you think that his game can translate? I'm just asking because his first 20 games don't look too promising from an analytics stand point, but he's been good at every league before the NHL.
