CBJ don't need another LHD, they need a righty to play alongside Werenski. Hanifin also only has 1 year left with no chance of resigning with how bad columbus were last season

We definitely need a LD more than RD. We have essentially have no one to play 2LD. Between Jiricek, Boqvist, Peeke, and Gudbranson our RD is covered.

boqvist can't stay healthy, and none of jiricek, peeke, or gudbranson and good enough for too pairing minutes

Maybe not now, but Jiricek has proven he is ready for NHL and is the future 1RD. Gudbranson is unmoveable so he will be in, and one of Boqvist or Peeke will be in. There just isnt space for another RD to add to the mix.

Boomer is right - CBJ have bigger need at LD, not RD. That said, I’m not opposed to moving out the logjam at RD for an upgrade.

i understand your point, but i don't agree with trading ceulemans for 1 year of hanifin when's he's pretty overrated to be fair. ceulemans is the RHD2 for the future behind jiricek, so i feel it makes more sense to trade boqvist instead, and NOT for hanifin without an agreed extension in place
