That's a lot to give up to protect Subban.

None of this makes any sense. The worst is Ryan Spooner getting beat out by Riley Nash for the 3rd C. That'd never happen and we're probably hoping Vegas takes Subban so we have a good 7th defenseman when we trade Adam McQuaid, who you decided would play on the top pair. Lots of holes in all of this. Jimmy Hayes beating out Stafford was also hilarious.

I like Ryan White, and that's a good deal.

That's plenty to protect Subban, it would probably cost less to pay Vegas a pick to take a specific player. The Bruins don't want to lose SUbban, he has a long journey ahead but the ability to be a great goalie. Look how long it took the likes of Crawford and Dubnyk to find their zone. Subban can do what these goalies have done

Lol. Vegas taking Subban is best we can hope for, they aren't taking Hayes unfortunately. Trying to discourage them from it is a bad idea. Detroit still has Howard and Coreau even if Mrazek is taken they don't need Khudobin. Bernier signs elsewhere for more. Can't see Spoonef returning and he'll get more than that even if he does. Lot of our own RFAs left unsigned with no $ left to do so. Scale of 1-5. It's a 1.
