Description

Nothing spectacular here. Just trying for what could be a realistic offseason. The Boeser trade an attempt to get some much needed scoring without giving up the top draft picks that would have to be involved in any deal that isn't a semi-reclamation project like Boeser. Yzerman was aggressive with free agency last season, and continues here. Barbashev and Clifton bring the physical side they're looking for with both Boston and Vegas up against the cap and unable to match the offers. Jarry provides the 1B goalie for Husso who faded late in the season with a higher workload than he is used to.

Fine with everything except that Clifton contract. He's a third pairing defenseman at best, worth nowhere near $3.7M a year.

Imo a 2nd and 3rd gets the deal done.
I also think Boes would be a nice fit in DET.
He gets too much hate in VAN.
