Description

Sabres are close to the playoffs. Adding a veteran goalie like Varlamov to split time with Levi is something I think they will do. They are either going to trade or sign a D man and I think they will win the bidding war for Severson. Patches is a flyer move since they have the cap space and he's been out this whole past year. Suter could be replaced by any kind of bottom 6 center but I went with him. I have them shipping Olofsson and signing Barbashev. Barbashev has been elite with Vegas and playing on the wing. I think he fits what the sabres want to do. Olofsson to me is getting traded for sure. He scores goals but he's brutal defensively and makes so many mistakes. I could see the penguins going in on him and him turning into a 70 point player just becuase. He is the kinda player Dubas likes too. Highly skilled and can score goals.

Had no idea. Could be any type of prospect or pick. I just think the sabres will move on from him and I can see the Pens being a team interested in his skill set.

Zero shot they spend that much money in FA, just not what they do. Varlamov likely stays in long island.

Probably someone like Tanev or Grzelcyk on D.

im just picking guys based on style of play. But a small chance they move him if they want to get younger/someone overpays. Better chance they move Tanev than severson signs for 5 mil though. Or that the Sabres spend that much in FA
