Description

Whatever this Hart trade turns out to be will be a good basis for what a potential Swayman trade could be. Hart is more highly touted and represents more draft capital, Swayman has performed and developed better and faster, albeit on a significantly better team than Hart. I doubt the return is exactly the same, but it is comparable depending on whether the team Hart goes to is a contender missing a goalie, or a team investing in a future franchise guy.

That was 2018, what about inflation? Also the Avs took on a huge contract in Orpik at the time. So Swayman and Coyle for a 2nd?

Friedman has the Flyers moving Hart, preliminary stages, but buffalo is on the short list. I don't think adams will overpay, so if it's more than a second, upl, and maybe a lesser prospect- I bet we are out

Ottawa could just offer sheet swayman for the 24 2nd rounder. No need to spend anything else on him. As long as it is just under 4.3 mil AAV offer.
