Normally a guy like Panarin shouldn't be making more than 9-9,5 M especially with that term. A lot of things Panarin won't do. Play defence. He won't play with certain players or other position than Lw.

I'm sure he'd do it if the organization was serious enough to say "play the right side or sit". There is no reason to believe that NYR have even considered it. I've been crying about this on these forums for a while. Everyone at this point knows to anticipate his backhand passes and every year he's taken longer to wind them up. He's not shooting, he's not outrunning anyone. Put him on the right side. He's not driving play enough to have a say.
