No trades in here or signings just a rant

PD has made it look like he's done a masterful job of making the sens a better team but I'm not so sure! IMO Buffalo, Detroit, Montreal, New Jersey will or continue to surpass the sens in the standings in the coming years if PD keeps trading for guys who a) don't want to stay b) don't fit the system and lastly c) they continue to play the DJ Smith dump and chase system

PD has now since 2021 burned up 1st and 2nd round picks IMO so if Debrincat is in fact traded and in 2 years time let's say Giroux retires there really isn't anyone to step in immediately to fill those shoes! Greig is better suited for the third line with Pinto on a cup contending team. Below I explain what PD has done in 2020-2023 that's cause for concern!

2020 great draft maybe a couple flyers on players that shouldn't have been taken as high as they were (sokolov)

2021 horrible draft boucher, roger, latimer...the draft was a shame they just took gambles left right and centre. Roger (2nd round) and Latimer (4th round) wont even be qualified.

2022 trade Gustavsson to Minny for Cam Talbot - bad trade for injured 35 YO goalie for a young goalie who just has never had a good team in front of him. IMO if you're trying to assemble a better team you should give the guy a chance to prove his worth instead of shipping him out for a 35 YO on a one year deal that you don't plan on bringing back.

Trade 7th OA 39th OA and a 2024 3rd for Debrincat - you might want to do some research on players before you trade for em...great player but thrives in possession oriented systems which Ottawa ding ding isn't. They play a dump and chase which is why again a lot of their players have bad defensive metrics outside of the top line! Bring in a new coach who has fresh ideas and a new system and maybe Chabot, Chychrun, Stutzle, Batherson, Norris and Debrincat would/could be even better! Tkachuk is the only one who thrives bc he can bang and get the puck back easily!

Trade Chychrun for 2023 first, conditional 2024 2nd and 2026 2nd - this trade works if they resign him if not it's another loss more burned picks!

I don't have faith that PD won't screw up a potential Debrincat trade out of town. So for the love of god please announce a new owner so they can fire the GM and coach immediately!
