You frequently see teams trade cap relief for a player who won't count against the cap as a LTIR. As you see, TOR gets relief from Murray. Philly sheds Ellis contract and adds two assets, Robertson and a 3rd. Win-win trade.

I know who he is. He was actually the 11th pick. His development hasnt been great and he might not even be a top 5 prospect in their system. That trade is gross for the Flyers.

These are all terrible for the Flyers except CBJ which is probably too much return from them
